Each clay shard on this pendant is shaped by hand in South Africa, no two ever quite the same, so the finished piece carries the same variation and imperfection you'd find in something grown rather than made. The clay is worked by a community of women in KwaZulu-Natal, a project built around the idea that a piece is better for carrying the fingerprints of the hands that shaped it.
Hung in a stairwell or double-height void, the elongated form gives the eye somewhere to travel, its shards catching light and shadow differently depending on where you stand below it. Available in Medium, Large, or XL, and finished only in white, it's built as a true statement piece, one long enough to hold its own in a large, open space.
