The Open Dome Wall Light sets a wide, shallow shade on a swan neck arm, with nothing hanging below the rim. The light source sits recessed up inside the dome behind a flat opal diffuser, so from most angles only an even disc of light is seen, and the outline of the shade stays clean against the wall.
With the opening facing straight down, the shade directs light onto the ground and the wall beneath it and keeps glare out of the eye line, which suits it to doorways and paths where people walk directly underneath. Arm, shade and the round wall plate are powder coated aluminium, surface mounted as a single assembly. It works above front doors, garage doors, sheds and decks, and spaced at intervals along a boundary wall or fence.
