Papyrus Shade Walnut Wall Light

$894.00 NZD

Standard Lead Time: 2 - 4 Weeks

The Papyrus Shade Walnut Wall Light pairs an FSC-certified walnut structure with an arched, translucent papyrus shade, its form brings together clean lines and natural materials, striking a balance between simplicity and warmth that feels both considered and enduring. Available in Short and Tall sizes, the refined silhouette casts a warm, indirect glow, filtered softly through the fine grain of the papyrus.

Built with a flat-pack structure to lower its environmental footprint, this wall light brings a cosy, atmospheric warmth to bedside walls, living areas and hallways. The Tall size rotates a full 360 degrees to direct light as needed, while both sizes house an integrated 2700K LED module for a soft glow at low energy use. Its natural materials and quiet, pared-down form suit interiors built around calm, texture and a close connection to natural elements, spaces where timber grain, soft light and simple shapes are left to do the talking. Also comes in a linear pendant version view the Walnut and Papyrus Shade Linear Pendant

2026 Lighting Trends & Expert Buying Tips

n 2026, lighting has evolved beyond pure function to become the defining "jewellery" of the home — with tactility, sculptural form, and emotional well-being at the forefront of design thinking. Our expert team's 2026 Lighting Buyers Guide covers the key trends, materials, and technical considerations to help you make confident choices for every room.

This year's dominant aesthetic is "Functional Art" — pieces that serve as striking focal points even when switched off. Standout movements include hand-blown organic glassware with wabi-sabi imperfections, a Mid-Century Modern revival with living brass finishes, bold Brutalist forms, and a growing celebration of local Australian design. Leading materials include aged brass, natural fibres like rattan, and translucent alabaster and stone.

Room by room, the guide recommends a layered lighting approach, with expert advice spanning kitchen linears, bedroom warmth, exterior accent lighting, and the technical essentials — smart integration, CRI ratings, and flexible track systems.
