Glass & Stainless Steel Wall Light | Nudge
The Glass & Stainless Steel Wall Light pairs a softly curved brushed stainless steel square plate with a handblown opaque glass globe, producing a fixture that functions as much as a wall-mounted sculptural object as it does a light source. The plate bows gently inward at its centre, cradling the globe and casting reflected warmth across the steel surface when illuminated. Part of the After Hours Collection, the piece brings together two distinct materials — metal and glass — through a contrast of surface texture and form.
The steel plate can be rotated in any direction at installation, giving flexibility in how the globe sits within the composition and allowing the piece to be oriented to suit its surroundings. Each glass globe is handblown, meaning small bubbles, tonal shifts, or subtle surface blotches are a natural characteristic of the process rather than an irregularity. Minor surface marks may also be present on the reverse of the steel plate as a result of the fabrication method. Rated IP65, the fixture is suitable for use in wet areas. Made in Tasmania.
