Consultations Terms & Conditions
The following outlines the terms and conditions upon which Lighting Collective provides Lighting Design Consultation services.
We always aim to provide the best possible service, so if you have any questions about these Terms & Conditions please contact our lighting design consultations team.
Preparing for your consultation
We ask that you provide the following preparation materials at least three working days before your appointment:-

Your building plan, FFE (fixtures, fittings and electrical) plan and RCP (reflected ceiling plan).

An outline of your project timeline and budget.

A mood board and/or any inspirational photos of the types of styles, materials, textures and colours you like.

An optional extra - Samples of the finishes you are using in your project, including tiles, stone, cabinetry colour, paint colours etc.
We will be unable to confirm your consultation booking without having received these materials.
Specifications & lighting layovers
Any lighting layovers produced by our team as part of the final specification are indicative and not to scale. Layovers should be used as a reference guide only and exactly installation locations should always be discussed with your electrician and/or builder.
Our team will overlay the version of your plans provided for your initial consultation and will not be responsible for amending overlays if your plan changes. We ask that you provide our team with any updated plans (including RCP and FFE) if they change during the consultation process.
Any lighting layout and/or product specification decisions you make outside of the consultation process are your responsibility. Our team is only able to specify and provide guidance on products from Lighting Collective’s range.
Scope of our services & deliverables
We aim to be upfront and transparent so it's clear of what services and deliverables (collectively "scope of services") our consultation agreement with you includes. Any extra services and/or deliverables outside of our agreement with you will be charged additionally at our standard service rates, this can include (but is not limited to):-
- Extra consultations and/or meetings with our team.
- Extra layover and/or specification document revisions.
- Amendments required to layovers and/or specifications due to changes in your plans.
- Any extra work on our part note detailed in our agreement.
Fees & termination
Any fees paid for our consultation services are non-refundable. We request 2 working days' notice of your intention to terminate the consultation process.
Product purchases
Any products purchased as a result of Lighting Collective’s consultation services will be handled per Lighting Collective’s standard terms and conditions of sale. Please review any purchases carefully before payment as we are unable to accept change-of-mind exchanges or refunds.
