Warranty Terms by Material

Specific manufacturer warranties apply based on the material composition of each lighting fixture from the date of purchase:

Aluminium Components: Covered by a 25-year anti-corrosion guarantee against structural failure, covering the replacement of faulty aluminium parts showing signs of corrosion. This applies only to above-ground installations with the original surface treatment intact. It also includes the standard 5-year technical warranty.
Brass & Copper Components: Covered exclusively by the standard 5-year technical warranty against manufacturing and electrical defects. The 25-year anti-corrosion guarantee does not apply to these materials.

Coastal Environment Suitability & IP Ratings

Only the aluminium fittings are certified to withstand harsh coastal air and high-salinity environments. For fully exposed coastal installations, the fitting must also feature an IP65 rating or higher. This protection prevents corrosive salt spray and wind-driven moisture from entering the electrical housing. Please review the technical specifications of each product carefully to ensure compliance with your environmental needs and warranty terms.

Natural Weathering of Brass & Copper

Brass and copper are living materials that naturally oxidise, tarnish, and develop a unique patina when exposed to outdoor elements. This aging process is a natural physical characteristic of the metal rather than a product defect, and it is not covered under the 5-year technical warranty.

Important Warranty Exclusions & Conditions

Anti-Corrosion Exclusions: The 25-year guarantee excludes parts that are scratched, scored, altered, or covered with external materials like silicone or cement. It does not cover natural dirt, surface deposits, or changes to the finish aspect over time.
Technical Warranty Exclusions: Any unauthorized intervention, modification, or use outside of recommended practices will void the 5-year technical warranty.
Claims Process: Warranty claims require the affected product to be returned to the factory for analysis before any replacement part is issued. The manufacturer replaces the faulty component only, not the entire fixture. Transport, dismantling, and installation costs are expressly excluded from the warranty coverage.
