The Carst Wall Sconce is a distinctive sculptural fitting crafted through innovative casting techniques. Handcrafted by artisans in Melbourne, Australia, the light begins as a hand-carved length of concrete. A primary mould is taken from the carved original, which is then cast in solid aluminium to capture the exact raw texture of the original concrete.
Combining a Brutalist aesthetic with a refined metal finish, this wall sconce casts indirect illumination across hallways, living rooms, and entryway feature walls. The cast aluminium construction provides high structural durability while retaining the intricate, tactile surface of the initial hand-carved design.
