SPEC SHEET

All Fossil Coral products are hand-crafted with unique and natural variations in size, character and detail. These variations in colour, pattern, fracture lines and texture are not considered to be defects but rather celebrations of the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.

The lead time for each product variant is shown above the Add to Cart button. This is our best estimate of how long your piece will take to reach you, from the day you order to delivery at your door. Because we work with designers both in Australia and around the world, lead times differ from product to product.

Discover Marovo Island Traders: The Art of Fossil Coral Lighting

Are you looking for unique, culturally rich home decor? Discover how Marovo Island Traders transforms natural landscapes into stunning home accents. Born during the COVID-19 pandemic to support the remote Solomon Islands community, founders Matt Woodfield and Amy Vomiero pivoted from eco-tourism to crafting exquisite Fossil Coral Lighting.

This socially responsible venture views interior lighting as a profound form of artistic expression. Key highlights of their inspiring story include:

  • Natural Materials: Blending the island’s raw beauty with timeless Mediterranean aesthetics, their minimalist Wabi-Sabi designs highlight the sacred geometry, texture, and ethereal glow of ethically sourced Fossil Coral Lighting.
  • Cultural Preservation: Marovo Island Traders expertly merges contemporary design with traditional carving techniques, reviving local artisan skills historically used to craft Shell Money.
  • Community Impact: By establishing a micro-manufacturing industry, the brand provides vital steady income, education, and training, empowering local families to thrive in their pristine environment.

Ultimately, these distinctive fixtures effortlessly complement diverse architectural styles. By supporting Marovo Island Traders, you elevate your home's aesthetic while actively celebrating and protecting the rich heritage of the Solomon Islands.
